It was a great pleasure having you in our High Schools during Red Ribbon Week 2002. Your message was well accepted by the youth in our schools and has made an impact on everyone I have talked to since your visit. The heart and truth you put into your presentations is felt by all. The stories you share bring reality to those students who think they are invincible. Here in Plumas county alcohol plays a major role in the lives of our young people, and I hope that after hearing your words they think before they act on peer pressure and urges.

I was reading our weekly newspaper (dated October 30, 2002) and was touched by an article one of our young people had written regarding your visit. Thank you not only from this young lady's standpoint but also from mine. We always hope that our efforts are not taken with a grain of salt, and that we reach out and touch at least one of our youth in a positive way. Well Rick you have done just that.
