The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee of the University of California, Irvine Athletic Department would like to thank you for speaking at our first ever FuLBIr Olympics. From my perspective, both kids and staff, took something away from what you shared with us. Your presence in front of the group commanded everyone's attention.
Over a hundred kids, ages 9 - 13, usually a very rambunctious group, all had their eyes locked and focused on your words. Even the collegiate student-athletes, prone to fooling around, were captivated.
Numerous individuals approached me after the Olympics to thank me for the experience and the ideas that were shared. Specifically your ideas about leadership at such a young age and the message you conveyed.
Thank you again for your kind words and support for the FuLBIr Olympics.
