Downieville School had the distinct pleasure of a day-long workshop with Mr. Rick Minniefield this past month. He came the evening before and held a leadership session for 14 students for 3 hours and then worked with our 3rd to 12th grades the entire following day.
Rick has a presence about him that draws students and faculty to him. His keynote speech touched on self-esteem and respect for one's self as well as others. The break-out sessions were timely and very well done.
Downieville School probably enjoyed Rick and learned more from Rick more than any speaker we have had here in the past.
